Hey Qlers :)

I'm facing a dilemma in Queenstown, NZ, ATM....do I jump from a plane or bungee jump? I'm NOT doing both, (still have a little sanity left.)

Has anyone done either/both....which one would you consider more dangerous?

Such hard work being on holidays...*sighs*

by the way ICU (I see you) is a modern way to communicate since text were invented. If some of you can only associate with hospital that is your problem.

Did you ever jump from your bed and landed in your head first?

For sure that will send you to the ICU unit in your local Hospital in serious pain.

I don't need to know, what it feels to jump with a bungee cord attach to your feet or harness to your body.

I got 54 register Airborne jumps and 4 HALO jumps, I got enough of jumping in my life and plenty of rappelling from Helicopters. I'll leave that junk to the inexperience and thrill seekers.

Don't include me in your comment.

you go for such an expensive solution? Jumping of the plane ... sigh ... Give me that money and i assure you a quick and clean death that you will say later .. Am I really dead or or not? It will confuse you a little, but in the end you will get it ...

Hey all those jumps on those days pay off my house notes and car bills..

How about fast rope rappelling, that surely will leave some heat friction markings in your gloves..

I am a peaceful loving kind of guy. I am not really your combat gun carrying kind of dude. I was born in the 1960s when the mantra was "make love not war". You dig?

Try to do a combat jump with 150 pounds of s,h,i,t, strap to your body and is night time at 700 feet...Hitting the ground hurts like a Mother F#$er.

is terrying the first time you do it and then it gets a lot easier. First time I did it was on a 20 foot static line attached to the floor of the plane. This opens the chute after the first 20 feet so its pretty easy. Its a great feeling and takes about three mins until you land. The floating down part is very enjoyable. Go for it!

bungee is fun though, when you keep getting to fall over and over again...up then down, up then down!

done the airplane jump..its INCREDIBLE!!! But..do it in tandem with an instructor..much easier and safer. Its such a RUSH!!!

Bungee jumping..nope, won't do that because...with sky diving, if your chute doesn't open, you probably won't live to know it..Bungee jumping, you probably will..but never walk again. I prefer to do things all the way, not halfway...(still drives my mother nuts tho that I do things like this!)

I'm thinking the jumping out of a plane, as it will be a quick death if all fails.

However with Bungee jumping, the idea of hitting the gound and my head ending up gods know where, scares me a little...
