HIV/AIDS: Stats Don't Lie

I came across an article
in which an AIDS expert seems to lament over not being able to come up with a
cure for HIV/AIDS. What I find startling is going through the stats.....got
this from an International aids charity
foundation
group.

Male-to-male sexual contact probably caused the majority (66%) of
infections in white people living with AIDS. An additional 14% of white people
were exposed through injection drug use, 11% through high-risk heterosexual
contact and 8% through both male-to-male sexual contact and injection drug use.
Among black people living with AIDS, male-to-male sexual contact, high-risk
heterosexual contact and injection drug use each account for around 30% of
infections.

See what the cause and cure of this disease???? I really fail to understand
their (the scientists involved in this) objective.........I mean by curing HIV/AIDS
do they mean they are looking for a wonder drug that will preventing our body
from reacting to these vices?

Scarlett,

Thats the point....Dont you think prevention is the cure to this disease? We are going about wasting billions in research trying to find a way of altering our predetermined moral code.

by what you said

"See what the cause and cure of this disease???? I really fail to understand

their (the scientists involved in this) objective.........I mean by curing HIV/AIDS

do they mean they are looking for a wonder drug that will preventing our body

from reacting to these vices?"

What you are speaking about is PREVENTION, NOT a cure...To cure this horrible disease would be truly a wonderful miracle as its become one of the scourges of the world, along with cancer. Yes, some do not practice their lifestyles with the wisest of choices, but then there are others that are very innocent victims of this disease...so we still need a cure for it.

Princess H...please...show me the stats where you found that 99% of dating leads to sexual intercourse before marriage...PLEASe...give us a break with the off the cuff comments and statistics...if you are going to spout them then back them up with the sources. Heaven forbid if  people have the CHOICE/RIGHT to date...guess the world would come to a screeching halt.

Ok...keep coming out of the closet.....welcome to my world of reality and fact......so calling me a c**t, or wanting me to die or stop breathing the same air as you wont change anything. Anyways you're just reacting like any other when it comes to embracing the truth:

Deception:

You

think you understand, and believe you know the truth, when in fact you

have embraced a lie as truth. Remember, THE POWER OF DECEPTION IS THAT

YOU DON’T KNOW YOU’RE DECEIVED.

Confusion:

You

have opened your heart to receive new understanding, which now

conflicts with what you believed to be true. You’re no longer sure. The

“previously held” belief or knowledge may not be true in light of the

new belief. TWO OPPOSING THOUGHTS APPEARING TO BE TRUE IS CONFUSION.

Reality (Truth):

We

understand which is truly REAL and which is the counterfeit or false,

then make the decision to embrace the truth; we leave confusion and

enter into reality (truth).

TRUTH IS ALWAYS ABSOLUTE. IT DOES NOT

CHANGE IN THE PRESENCE OF “NEW” TRUTH.

It is just a case of the mentally incapacitated saying "DA!" to each other. To think we share the same air as these morons depresses me.

This is the result of tolerating/legalizing homosexuality: AIDS, plus many other diseases that destroy the structure, and the ethics/morals of the society.

66% is a very high percentage but no one learns the lesson.
