Hooters lunch :-)

Jeez, now wouldn't I wanna go back to school - um more so, The Berwick Middle School :-)

___________________________________________________________

For one group of central Pennsylvania eighth-graders, a recent field trip to Baltimore included lunch at Hooters _ a restaurant better known for its busty waitresses than its food.

The Berwick Middle School students were visiting the National Aquarium last week. Chaperones took them to various restaurants for lunch because the group of 100 was too large for a single place.

The Bloomsburg Press Enterprise reports Tuesday that one group of 15 to 20 students ended up at Hooters.

Superintendent Wayne Brookhart says that while he wishes the group's coed chaperones had chosen another restaurant, he has not received any complaints from parents.

Hooters spokesman Mike McNeil says the restaurant chain often hosts groups, including sports teams and church organizations with teens and younger children.

I agree.  I've been to a Hooters in Boston, and I have to say that waitresses there were wearing more than waitresses at other "normal" eateries to which I've been (including in Qatar).  It's all about the tips, I guess.

Actually though this "Hooters" maybe reputed for what they are, many restos may, by default, actually have "hooters" worthy waitresses anyways so its understandable why parents didn't object. That said I've seen quite a few of em "hooters"(very catchy...gonna add it to my vocab) type waiting staff around Qatar too...obviously I'm not gonna mention names now!And even if they are not your classic Hooters gals they are gonna be treated like them all the same by the ,ummmm, hungry people!

True.  It will also be the only Hooters that requires a reservation.

They should build a Hooters in Doha.  I'm sure it would be very popular.

Our field trips (picnics) involved museums, diary colonies, factories etc. the best entertainment we got was when the bus sometimes, to avoid traffic, drove through the RLD :-(

There is a Hooters next to an Italian restaurant I frequent with my little ones, if we wait outside we can see their patio.  I see all ages of kids going in there all the time, with their parents.  Cant say I have or ever would do the same.
