Well if you used the word "Paki" in the West it is considered a racist slur. A bit like using the words "Nigger" to a black person or "Honky" to a white person or "Chinky" to a Chinese etc...

Maybe its different here in this part of the world and such words dont carry the same tone of offensiveness as it does in other countries?

It's about as offensive as Juche is to the freedom of a country of people.

i personally know some paki and bangali who has qatari passport but i think they came to this country in the 70s or something. and some paki served in the gulf war and they got it too. and if youre a Hindu or christian you cant get a qatari passport no matter what.

Wait for a chance, i heard from someone, if you spend in Qatar more then 40 years with visiting your homeland, you are on preference in the list...

But as i know Indians always say "Proud Indian" and you should also do the same, you have your own country passport, why you need another one? You have a proper identity, what you need more?

Correct flexicode.

And c-club u won't get the passport since you aren't the only one born n raised here, there are Indian families who have their third gen here, in good positions, with no such luck. What's so special about you?

...you can simply go and ask a qatari for his passport..may be he will give you !! what do you want to do with a qatari passport anyway??

Wake up c-club and get ready to face the real world. If you were born, schooled and brought up here, you are not alone who develop goose pimples at the thought of competing with their street smart peers in India.

the passport you guys, I know a ton of Indians proud of where they are from.

So 'proud' that they use bottles and bottles of skin-tone whitening creams ;-)

Ha! That's too funny! You can't -- unless you're a world-class athlete. What's wrong with your passport? You should be proud of where you are from.

I guess you don't know what is happening around the world these days. India and China are really growing faster than any other economies in the world. Why do you really want the passport of a country where the citizens will never accept you as a part of their society? If you like to get the passport of another country why don't you try USA, UK, Canada or Australia because after that you will be definitely be treated better than an Indian here. Try to be a proud Indian and try to know about the real value of your country.

The way some people are on here, you would think you need a certain number of positive Qatar posts and 1,000 QL Points to get one ;-)
