How do you sell your property in Qatar?

I have a 4 bedroom apartment for sale in Sabban Towers on the Pearl development which should be ready for occupancy June or July 2008. The ad is posted in Classifieds, in the Accommodation section. Just filter by "Apartment" and "For Sale" to see the full ad. With some developers now charging 19,000 to 21,000 per square metre, this is a bargain price at 17,000 per square metre. Please feel free to conatct me for more details. The thing is that I have no idea what the process is for selling a property. Do you have to go through an agent? How does the money get divided between the lending bank, developer, and owner? In Scotland it's simple - you go to see an estate agent (who are all law firms), sign an instruction for them to sell, and everything magically takes care of itself!

To be honest, the mechanics of reselling just never occurred to me when I bought it. As it's all new in Doha, most people just aren't aware of what needs to be done. I'm sure the process in Germany is relatively straightforward as it is in the UK. Of course, the developer will resell for you, but they want a commission of 1-1/2%, which I wouldn't mind paying if they actually did something like advertise it in the local press, on a website or whatever, but from what I gather all they do is wait for someone who wants that size of apartment to contact them. Which I can do myself.

And no, I'm not in the property business, although it seems to be a lucrative business in this part of the world!

Your appartment is nearly one million Euros for this you can buy a villa in Munich, for my taste this is too expensive knowing what kind of labourers have been used to build these.

I am sure you know what you are talking about as when you invested in the appartment then you obviously about and paid for it, I am sure you are in the propert business too.
