Hi, I'm going to qatar on 30th this month. I have a mixed feeling.... happy coz my husband will be beside me, and sad because I got to go far away leaving my mum here ( I'm going to bring my mum along in 3 months time anyway). I dunno how is qatar going to be and I dunno whether I'll like to stay there or not.

I'm also worried about my job, dunno how will be my working enviroment and how will be my bossess..... god help me to go through all this..!!!!

What encourages me is that the salary. I can never get that much if I stay where I am now. So, I've to make use of the opportunity.

first time i set foot on this country, i feel alienated already (as this is my first time to go out our country)...ALL are different (of course), and can't breath with that thought...i almost cried, actually, i cried when i got to my new home..

first two days was like hell for me, been crying, in question...(went here to escape probs and to realize something..) still now, in question why am here..but have to deal with a lot of things..

this is my first move overseas and I ran the gauntlet of crying because I was going to miss my sons, and being glad because I was going to a brand new place and be with my husband. I have to admit to having one major melt down here a week after landing but it was due to not being able to drive anywhere because I had no idea where I was!!! Best thing to do is go with an open mind and fresh eyes, not a negative attitude. If you go with a negative attitude, even if the place is close to heaven, you will not enjoy it. Make the best of where you are going, make your own fun and yes, you will miss your family but they are only a phone call away. Good luck to you hon....

For myself i can say i never had problems to leave my country because i know i always can go back home and this world is so great and fantastic to discover that i want to see all.Of course this is not possible but now i cant wait to come back to Doha because my sweetheart is waiting me and many of my friends here wants to visit us in Doha and i have no reason to feel sad because i loose nothing but i can win so much.
