How much are 4x4's out there?

e46M3 et al.. How much are SUV's out there? I gather cheaper than here in the UK? I just need ballparks to give me some perspective. i rather like the BMW X5, the Infiniti FX and the Lexus RX. I'm guessing though that these are nearer the expensive end of the scale, so I'd also be interested in how much the Nissan Murano, Toyota Prado, and Mistubishi Pajero. Finding prices online is hell! Any websites with pricing would be valuable.

Yes, no problem there. Dealer and service easy.

What's it like, the Touareg?

We're thinking of bringing our VW Touareg from Dubai. Presume one can get them serviced over in Doha? Are they even distributed in Qatar?

No Prob. I'd avoid the X5 as it's near the end of its life.

Good luck. Up the Irons!

BMW X5 3.0 28,942 GBP

BMW X5 4.4 32,500 GBP

I'll get you prices for the others you're interested in in a few hours.

Always expect some kind of a discount on these sticker prices.

Tendai,

I'm in the same situation as yourself, moving to Doha on 3Sept, have been told to wait until im in country before looking for a 4 x 4 as the web sites are very poor.

What do you want it for?

Best desert car is nissan patrol/toyota land cruiser

These cars are everywhere here.

Things like the BMW, Range Rover, Porsche look nice but you are unlikely to take them dune bashing and will miss out on an excellent weekend's entertainment.

The american bunch hummer, durango etc have all the mod cons inside and are more comfortable than the japanese lot listed above but don't do quite as well in the desert.

As for comparing prices the best solution is to get on the phone and call the relevant agents for each car. The internet hasn't really penetrated qatar very well yet and what websites there are are poorly maintained and out of date. Even Qtels (the national ISP) site has email addresses on it that don't work.

BMW agents AL Fardan automobiles also do Land rover

Mannai do hummer and another american one

Abdulghani abdulghani do toyota
