HR Salary with financial Companies
Hi everyone.....to start with, i must acknowledge that its a great forum. I am almost on the verge of getting an offer for a senior level position with a financial company in Qatar.
I have seen few salary discussions, but wanted to seek more clarity specific to my case. I am based in UK and have job offers here ranging between GBP 60K-70K p.a.+annual bonus+car allowance
Q-How much salary shall i be looking for in Qatar?
The consultant i spoke to, gave me a figure of 55K-60K pounds=4,00,00-4,40,000 quatri riyals......Is that what a senior director level)person get in qatar? Is that good or bad as per staying in Qatar, keeping in mind that i have goal to save atleast 2,000 GBP per month
Q-What are the typical qatari salary structure / components like?
Q-Hows the work culture in qatari banks?
Needless to say, any help will be appreciated.
Cheers
Not living in Qatar it would be unfair of me to comment
Thanks for your commects dweller. Can u answer my other question please......is 35 QR (inclusive all) a decent amount to live comfortably (above average) in qatar.I would like to save about 15 K QR per month as well and have a above average/average life style......I plan to take a 2 BRHK in and around Grand Hamad Road.
cheers mate.
I would have thought it doubtful that anyone with only 8 or 9 years experience would have been offered an HR Director's position.
There are nationals with experience that would be considered. especially with drive to Qatarise the private sector.
Remember the biggest thing is that its untaxed.
Thanks for your response mate. I meant......work culture in general.....Are they bureacratic? Do usually director level people with about 8-9 years of functional experience get about 35 K qatari riyal decent? Should this amount include housing or shall i be asking for that separately.
Do employers usually give a lumpsum amount for relocation(if yes, how much shall one ask for)
Thanks again
Cheers
Where are qatari banks out here?
Salary structure varies from company to company, in the case of private companies. But for banks, I guess they have a more or less uniform scale for the sector as a whole and the pay is good. There is this most popular thread in this forum and several other threads that discuss this in detail.
Work culture differs from bank to bank....
