HSBC UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHYLOCKIAN APPROACH
I had been one of the unfortunate HSBC customers for the last 12 years, and one fine day they had CANCELLED MY CREDIT card without a single days notice. It was CANCELLED IN April 2012, but I paid all the amount spent in full, even though the bank treated ME VERY unprofessional and unpleasant manner.
Then I had tons of telephone calls around the world, from various call centers and agents…… Even after settling all my dues, now asking late fee/finance charges added to QR. 1800/-
their interest rate is beyond our imagination, i wonder is HSBC is contesting Guinness World Records for INTEREST RATE CONTEST ????????????
I humbly request all my fellow QL’s help in exposing this unprofessional and arrogant bank approach and present this issue to the concerned consumer protection department in Qatar.
You better pay off the outstanding like a good boy or else you'll be blacklisted and never able to enter GCC.

aot6, very simple man. He might have used his credit card before April 2012 which was cancelled due to some issues and he might have taken one year to settle his dues.

If your card was cancelled in April-2012, how come you are receiving calls from around the world now after almost an year ? Once card is cancelled, I presume, it cannot be used online or offline.
So where is the real problem ?
