i need your opinion

guys please try to enlightened me with my situation:

i resigned last sept. 2007 and the company im with before was kinda ok at first. then i was jobless for quite sometime now because im still looking for a company who could provide me a visa( my visa is transferrable).

now my previous employer told me that i should better pay (from my own pocket) my visa renewal. and so i did.

my visa was renewed last march 30, 2008. now i got an email from my previous employer asking me and giving me a dealine of 10 days. 10 days i should get a new job and trasfer my visa.

which is so impossible for 10 days! what will i do? do i have the right to complaint them to the labor office because all of their workers are paying their own work visa and they are deducting them to their salaries.

please help
