Incident at Dairy Queen on Ramada signal

Intelligent
By Intelligent

I would like to share some thing that happened with me yesterday in Dairy Queen at around 11:00pm.

Some sick bastard just sneaked in to the ladies wash room and was standing there. A friend of mine went to the ladies wash room and this stupid guy was just standing there and staring at her. She got shocked and told the guy that you cant read that this is a ladies wash room. The guy simply stood there and did not moved an inch. When she came back she was so upset about the incident and asked me to leave. I said to her that may be he went in by mistake but when she told me that once she told him this is ladies wash room this guy did not move an inch and kept staring at her. Even till we leave the place he did not come out. How sick.

I wanted to go in and kick his ass but I think I am not going to go in Dairy Queen again. I Hope the establishment should take notice of such behaviour. Such things should not be allowed any where in Qatar as we should all care about the cultural values here.

I dont know if any one else has also experienced any thing like that.

Peace.

some people got nothing to do in their life but standing beside the toilets ... maybe he is enjoying the super nice smells coming out of there ...

I had my dinner there once and those kids, did not wait until they got out of the shop and in the middle of moving after they are done with their dinner they light but their cigarettes and start smoking ...

Guess they thought that they did proof something by doing so ...

Mr. Timtan are you always offensive. You should grow up now.

Yes Mr. Timtan please learn to respect woman first and then you are welcome to QL again.

Also I DO NOT agree with Intelligent for just leaving the place without informing any of the staff. And I'm NOT siding Niqa. Only thing, I dont like to see a man being rude to any woman. As much as I hate to learn that a guy was staring ladies at woman's toilet coz I am a woman myself...That's only my point :)))

Cheers!

and especially to you Mr. Timtam, anyway, I respect your 'opinion', as I do with everyone here (however stupid it may sound). I believed while in QL, you also need to grow-up and learn to respect and be respected. No need to remind me about women's protection, oh yes, I'm all aware of that sir, mind you Mr. Timtam, I got THREE daughters! Also, I don't hide behind names here, as I can face anyone who wants to meet and have a COFFEE with me. :)So, hope you have a fine christmas with your family too! A I do:)

We really need to grow up together, lol

Are u sure these are the words behind her comment: "they are all drunk from the Ramada."

Instead of calling her stupid, why didn't u clarify with her? Is that the ONLY nice words in your "GOOD" heart to reply a woman OR is just really difficult for you to be polite and calm? Oh btw, its your opinion to be rude, so I dont have say on that.

Good morning:))

I'm not siding any of you and neither Niqa, I just feel its very unpolite for you to call any woman a stupid for such a comment. I wonder if you could say such words in her face when you meet her in person? But if you ask me? I could slap any mouth to tell me stupid. And mind you, YOU are in Mid-East NOT in Thailand, you MUST learn to respect ladies, and show your SO CALLED "good heart" Thais.

Thank you!

By Apple• 21 Dec 2008 07:15

Have a little respect dude:)))

Quote from Niqa:

""oh, maybe he was just confused.. ...

do not know how to read sign?""--> As I understood, it was her humour comment or maybe a joke???.

""Don't you think he was drunk?""--> She was obviously asking or maybe reminding the poster, that the guy was drunk?... why he did such move? Because..........

""It was late at night and Ramada was just close by.""

--> Yes, alot of drunk guys coming out from Ramada and hanging around in DQ late at night.

Now, why is she stupid? Her comment is related to the topic whether its a senseless or useful comment, its still her opinion. But its very unpolite and unrespectful to call a woman stupid! In this case, what makes you different with the unpolite and unrespectful guy in the Ladies Washroom? :0

By nicaq25• 20 Dec 2008 20:54
nicaq25

we are not here to argue with each other,ok? And pls.mind your language in saying the word 'stupid' directly to the one giving the comment. Excuse me, if this issue bothers you than it bothers me. Because in the first place, I'm a woman and I have experienced the same at the kalifa tennis stadium recently. I had to check the sign outside the washroom to see if I was really in the "LADIES" toilet, because there was a guy inside checking himself at the mirror when I got in!Imagine that??? So, in my case, I spoke to that guy and reminded him that he was in the LADIES' TOILET. Not only that, because he was a guard on duty, I had to call the attention of his other colleague that his friend was doing was not appropriate. Now, whether you are in defense or what, that's not a big deal at all. In my long time here in QL, I never said STUPID to any commentator, just only react to the topic posted!

Wishing you happiness in this season of hope & giving!

I have a Muslim friend, also from America, and she wears hijab. When we are out together people will ask us where we're from. "America," we say in unison. Some will persist in saying, "Well, you look American, but you don't." Whereupon we put our arms around each other and declare loudly, "THIS is what America looks like!"

I also didn't want to mention the nationality because that might spark off an off tangent "why are we being maligned unfairly ??" flame war.

in an open forum like this, your opinion to the subject is much appreciated not to the poster. You just don't say to poster he/she is stupid, because that would be personal. Now, as I noticed, you come in defense to this guy whom the poster was talking about. And why, you asking for nationality by the way? I did not see the poster mentioning nationality here. You seem strange here. I'm pondering.

we have got to do something about this... anyone seen staring or acting different than me should be arrested and run out of the country.

Maybe he couldn't read. I can tell you one thing I am quite paranoid about getting those stupid shapes and silhouettes wrong or the bird shapes and cowboy cowgirl crap and ending up in the wrong toilet.

I must admit the best one I have seen was "Hepees" and "Herpes"

Dairy Queen near Ramada signal - yes, that was where a creep was staring at me also - but out at the table area.. and that was 7pm .. a few months ago.

/No dairy queen outlet in MY so I decided to check it out by having dinner there one fine evening. Once and only once.. never went back there again. He didn't do anything but stare but made me uncomfortable so I moved. Because it was public, he didn't move to follow me. El-creepo.

//Edit: and it wasn't a weekend in my case. It was a working day, Wednesday evening, I think. (I had my wheels by then - sometime in Oct...)I think he did follow me when I left but I nipped into my car and locked the doors. He went off, pretending he was just minding his own business.

///Could have been a cop, huh? Lol! Maybe.. but I wasn't taking any chances. Edit - but a cop would be observing without staring. This was a creepy stare.. So, I don't think I was wrong.

60 percent of the people in DQ are the customers specially on thursday evening who are coming there after getting exhausted in Ramada.

May be he could be drunk coz when my friend even said to him stupid he did not move. And I usually see people are sitting and having a nap while waiting for there order. Only sober people should be allowed in DQ specially on thursday evening.
