IT Technicians are allwoed for driving license?

Hey guys whats up! Well my ID profession is only Technician. I am not sure I can apply for driving license or not. But if I upgrade it from Technician to IT Technician can I apply for driving license? As far as I know IT Technicians are allowed for driving license. So can you please confirm whether Techinician or IT Technicians are allowed for driving license or not?

I guess IT Technicians are allwed as according to their job nature they need to travel branch offices frequently. Also there are many MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, RHCE etc. certified technicians who are doing repected jobs and contributing to Qatars prosperity.
