Am a fan of JHC books. I read them way back in the mid-eighties. I like to have access to the pdf copies if available. Anyone who can direct me to where I can find them on the internet, please help.

I agree with that, it was good fun to read them but the critic in me never liked the stuff :-P

whyteknight, I agree he was never a classy writer, but the books were real fun..

Never liked his books, read a few novels from him. Cheap stuff.

Also a Colt was a Colt and a Smith & Wesson was a Smith and Wesson and a Walther PPK a.......

Brit... yes that good old days, JHC made me mad while reading it, to don't keep it down until finsh ( completly read) it.Still it is worthy to read.Fatboyslim can you send your pdf JHC to me.Advance thanks.

JHC was one of my favorite, and had almost read all of his novels.

Particularly liked Detectives Tom Lepski.

I got a few JHC books, as pdf, and it still is as interesting as it was during my school days 20 years ago.

Who else can have a non-PC title like "Twelve Chinks and a woman". The plot is always predictable, but that doesn't make it any less enjoyable.
