Is fine, you have to live it to know it though. I am sure you wont be too long in making friends. People on the whole are friendly.

The cost of living is high compared to a lot of places. You just need to know where to shop and go bargain hunting.

The driving can be a bit crazy but you get used to it.

If you have kids, get on a school waiting list ASAP. I know Doha College is not taking any more applications from Nursery to year 6 and I know of a few others who are full.

You are coming at the hottest time of the year. So light clothing is a must.

Be happy and enjoy.

I will hoist that up the flag pole and see who salutes it!!

I am an Indian and work in MNC from October. I have come here from Dubai. So I find the pace of life in this country very slow. But surprisingly it rained here as if monsoon is a regular season up here. But surprisingly I am still struggling to get couple of good friends here with whom I can chat on weekends and go for outings or who can be activity partners. Job opportunities in Doha r very less and most of the people jump from one company to another. So it will be bit difficult to find a suitable job. But if u need any help please give me a shout on 5843116 and let me see what best I can do for u. U can aslo email me at [email protected]
