Lusail Stadium

They finally launched the 86-250 seat Lusail Stadium- the main stadium if they get the World Cup. I think this project would go even if they don't get it. All I can say is that it is nice!

baldrick2dogs,

I know where it was presented to the press, but from that to the launching of its construction or even design, not to mention the infrastructures, there is a loooooooooooong way to go.

Look at actual status of The Pearl and the Lusail City and recall how these projects were "launched" before the Asian Games and how they were promised for 2009.

Look at their status today and draw the conclusions of the value of these "launchings"...

I guess I’ve here to long to avoid skepticism.

Where did "they" "launch" it?

In the paper? Or was it a virtual launching (artist's impression) like many other mega projects were "launched" in Dubai and Qatar and were never built?

The "culture" of Qatar is not compatible with the World Cup's culture.

If they apply for it, they either intend to sell their souls to the devil or display a huge hypocrite show... besides other many utopias already covered in this site and the international media…
