The Mac App Store is Now Open for Business
Yesterday, January 06, 2010 the Mac app store opens for business to its customer, Apple wanted to deviate from the traditional way of selling softwares to its customer, no more disks (CD/DVD), no more boxes and no more time-consuming installation. If you’ve experienced using the App Store for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, then you will have no hard time using the new Mac App Store.

Mac applications are usually more expensive than the PC or Linux. If you are using i-(anything) then you are stuck with only those applications 'approved' by Steve Jobs.
At least the App store should bring down the cost of Mac applications and enrich Apple in the process :p
On the other hand if you use Android phones and tablets there are a vast number of things you can install and they don't have to be 'approved' by big Brother.
Its a non-story and only of interest to the Apple 'fanboys'.
