mivanebres has giving me a software for MTG this is MWS.. I have version that have all from M11 (no SOM) I build my deck by choosing all of them on the list. after I completed my BaneJaniGeddon deck.. try to play it online due to my ignorance ( as i was expecting most of the controls are automatic)it kinda freak me out "where is the draw phase?" "how do I reshuffle my cards" OMG... dont know what to do Yani....XD

So as I was very confused I close the game with out telling my opponent (alt +f4).....sorry dude...

This card would be great in removing unwanted/dead cards during gameplay. Usually, these kinds of cards are used in setting up combos.

Nope. Infect is a replacement effect that replaces damage done on creatures or players. So instead of damage done on creatures, you put that many -1/-1 counters; while on players, you put poison counters.

Infect is not a permanent counter on blocking creatures. Infect creatures simply attack that hits both power/toughness reduction in combat damage to the blocking creature. If a Wurmcoil Engine has blocked a 5/1 infect creature, Wurmcoil gets a -5/-5 power/toughness reduction UNTIL END OF TURN and Wurmcoil goes back to 6/6 at the next turn (if not hit by any spit damage while still 1/1). I'd rather PUT AN ENCHANT CREATURE or EQUIPMENT that has "put -X/-X on target creature" to keep the creature's power/toughness until equipment/enchantment stays on the creature.

venser, the sojourner + glimmerpoint stag = yeah!

it kinda reminds me of my deck "astral slide"...

you use venser, the sojourner's +2 ability and "slide' the stag on the side. when he comes back, target a threat... let's say a planeswalker who's about to go ultimate... too bad, shit resets when he goes back to play again...

aside from the B/G infest deck, i would be constructing a superfriends deck, utilizing the semblance anvil and proliferators to speed things up.

A 6/1 attacking creature deals -6/-6 counters on a blocker, or 6 poison counters on a player if unblocked. 10 poison counters and you're dead. I was lost through poison counters on a game...

...but you can prevent the counter just like preventing damage to yourself.

Anvil - imprint of super friends sounds great..

And lots of infect dude on play... let us see how these infect will cause in this release I remember during alliance's/mirage block poison counters really sucks... One poison counter... two poison counter...ahhh how many counters did you receive already...XD

good suggestion.

however, the flying ability of the bird is an evasion by itself. thus, the lens would be most likely ineffective. however, equipping "walking" creatures would optimize the lens' potential.

i prefer green on this one.

equip the lens in a, let say, a putrefax... imagine the dilemma it could create... or a blight mamba perhaps... let me draw or get infected...

i bet you would rather use proliferation to stack up the poison counters than use creatures in getting things done... i understand.

but i prefer slugging it out with creatures rather than spells.

i would use proliferation in other effects... to speed up the "ultimate" effect of a planeswalker perhaps...

Turn 3: Land, Ichor Rats (each player gets a poison counter), bash face with Thrumming Bird (triggers proliferate, opponent gets 2 poison counters)

Turn 4: Land, equip Thrumming Bird with Infiltration Lens for pseudo-unblockability, bash face

Rinse, repeat.. :D

tulip actually I'm thinking about that you can bury alive propagator and other legendary cards. Maybe they will come to there senses that this card will be pretty much powerful..

you could go Myr Propagator.. Propagator in graveyard give Necrotic Ooze an ability to produce copies of itself.. add Gigantomancer to the 'yard, and you'll have an army of fatties.. :D

I think if Jam will bring a set of it surely he will gonna cost him a lot....XD

My opponent have a planeswalker example Jace Beleren and one black knight on play. then I have white knight under my control and I direct my attacking to Jace is it legal to block my white knight by his black knight since i already direct my attack to jace?

I think yeasterday Sealed prerelease of M11 was a success!! We opened some nice cards and everybody had fun :)

I have been hosting players for a long time now but I don't know if I can accommodate everyone since our number has grown. I feel bad when a player gets left out whenever I and some of the guys meet up to play. For sure you would all agree, MTG is best played with more people.

The day they change Counterspell from 'interrupt' to 'instant', blue becomes a creature deck all the sudden. Plus some of them blue creatures are either hard to cast (UU minimum) or doesn't have the best ability other than, well, counter target spell.

Or maybe I'm just used to weenies (G & R). :-)

(Heck, even W & B weenies are easier to cast)

I got a better idea. Why don't we make a mini-tournament from decks built up from 'trash' cards? It doesn't matter if it's a Type-1 or Type-2 or such. We just pick any card from the 'trash' cards, temporarily build a deck, and play from out of the random box! That will look fairly equal to anyone among us. And I may probably join playing with you as well.

Haven't played for years, but I still can recall once I see the cards and how they 'work'. Surely there's no change to the basic steps of a turn, right?

/-a-t-/ pranzer: Way back in the days i use too play Might and Magic. Didn't play 3 though. I play RPGs a lot, like Final Fantasy to Diablo 2 to Baldurs Gate. My faves are Chrono Trigger and FF6. Right now im playing Fallout 3 and The Witcher (awesome game, try it out). One thing i would love to play is Dungeons and Dragons pencil and paper. I use to play D&D fused with Rifts and Robotech. My friends that i used to play with we all liked the same thing, medieval and technology and robots and stuff so we fused them together. Kind of like Shadowrun but better i think.

I also ordered the 2010 core set. Im still new to MTG. I have been playing the old game on PC. Im still learning. I think the hardest thing about MTG is building your own deck from ground up. But i hear its better to get some theme decks first and play with them first till you get the hang of playing MTG. So how many people are in the MTG group?

Pranzer... Magic has been adopted into PC games as well. I was first intorduce to the PC game, that is why i asked if orochimaru was reffering to the card or the PC?
