Maid trouble in new york..!!!!

NEW YORK — Handcuffed and haggard, International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn was escorted by detectives from a New York police station late Sunday in his first public appearance since being accused of trying to rape a hotel maid.

"Our client willingly consented to a scientific and forensic examination," Taylor said. Strauss-Kahn is "tired, but he's fine."

The hotel maid identified him from a police lineup that included five other men on Sunday, a police spokesman said.

But he now faces charges of a criminal sexual act, unlawful imprisonment and attempted rape, and could face a humiliating end to his public career.

Police say Strauss-Kahn does not have diplomatic immunity from the charges, which if proven could carry a prison sentence of 15 to 20 years.

The 32-year-old maid told authorities that when she entered his spacious, $3,000-a-night suite early Saturday afternoon, she thought it was unoccupied. Instead, Strauss-Kahn emerged from the bathroom naked, chased her down a hallway and pulled her into a bedroom, where he sexually assaulted her,

The maid was taken by police to a hospital and was treated for minor injuries. Stacy Royal, a spokeswoman for Sofitel, said the hotel's staff was cooperating in the investigation and that the maid "has been a satisfactory employee of the hotel for the past three years."

What I find strange is the way the different media is handling it and the impression being given that both France and the IMF are lost without him.

At least the US had the integrity to arrest and then hold this guy without bail. Could you imagine what would happen if a similar incident to place in a hotel with a maid in other countries including this one? Not only would we never hear about it the dude would probably get the maid jailed for refusing him.

Your literary finess is what i must first commend in this presentation. Well, in America it is said that anything goes but nothing really goes when it boils down to scandals and blackmail. Lets hope Strauss-Kahn will exhonorate himself, perhaps another Monica LenWhisky sagger!

Now time for the french to catch one of those rich and powerful american guys running and chasing after some exotic chicks from the mediteranean in Paris and then that will be a big story.

Hard to imagine the dude jumping out naked at her. All seems a bit suspicious to me. Of course, we'll know for certain when she files a lawsuit in hopes of profiting form it.

One question is what was the maid doing in the room when there was a customer in it. Maybe she did not get what she expected and then as is the usual practice with this type she started making up this stories which the New York police were more then delighted to investigate and in real quick time to make this french guy look like a real bad person.

It is evident that all this is made up. He is a victim of a smear campaign by the ruling president. Any sane person, contesting for the post of president would not commit such and act.

It just reminded me of Julian Assange..

If the same rules and laws were applicable and enforced out here around the gulf there would certainly be less maid complaints and more time for the embassy staff from where the maids come from to concentrate on doing other work and things.
