Motorist cleared

A Doha court has cleared a 20-year-old Filipino motorist of charges of reckless and risky driving.  He was also cleared of breaking a traffic light and causing injuries to an Indian pedestrian crossing the road.
The accused said that when the traffic light turned green on the Corniche St., he pressed the accelerator but the Indian crossed the road suddenly and he was unable to avoid hitting him. The pedestrian claimed damages for the injuries he sustained at the accident but subsequently dropped his claims. Consequently, the court considered the charges unfounded and since there was also no evidence of wrong doing, ruled that the young motorist was not guilty.

These people are just looking to be compensated for their injuries plus they will get medical leaves. They choose pedestrian lanes with traffic lights because it won't kill them when they get hit so BEWARE!!! They are SCAMMERS!!!. P.S. Usually they are Labor workers from industrial area/Crowds in Sword signal/Crowds in Filipino Souq during weekends....

it's like they are looking out to the traffic just to jump in front of the cars when they are really close; thus giving no chance to avoid hitting them.

Regards!!.

Boy oh boy, you have to watch out for kamikaze pedestrians all the time. The number of occasions where I have nearly taken out someone crossing the road are too numerous to mention.
