Ask the company to house you as the rent rates will keep climbing. Or else ask them to at least pay you the Rent Receipt (that would be fair) as housing allowance.

QR10,000 now is good but after 5 yrs it would be no good. Also depends from flats to flats, or villa to villa.

Here people even stay in garage converted to flats & still pay QR2,500 rent.

Everyone in this world muslim or non-muslim, Allah is providing food and resources. If He stop ur heart, would u be able to do anything get back? No buddy!! The luck is there and you only have the right to take a decision (though that decision is also known to Allah) so always seek guidance to take a decision :)

Regarding 4x4 dodge, durango model will not cost you more than QR. 50000, i guess but still you need to check the prices in Doha market. American cars are not famous over here.

thanks helloqatar i apreciat your replay. but i was asking about 4*4 dodge durango model 2003.thanx again

Helloqatar

What they have offered is the bare amount needed for housing. Most things you would live in are taken at that price.

Cars cost about the same as US

Are we having fun YET?

10000QR sounds much better … You can find accommodation for this amount of money but a lot depends on what you are looking for, i.e. villa vs. flat, how many bedrooms etc.

Keep an eye on the classified section of the local newspaper: http://www.gulf-times.com to get a better idea.

It's ur luck!! QR. 10000 is very good but make sure it's QR.10000/month not per year :)

But if it is, tell these people to get lost!!! How dare they offer such a ridiculous housing allowance when everybody here knows it is impossible to find any accommodation whatsoever within that budget!

... are you sure you didn't drop a zero and it's not 10000?

this rent allowance in not enough. to get a single room would be a nightmare. these days a single room flat unfurnished costs around 3000 QR.
