too much real information is cramped there in the Movie to make it a work of fiction. And they did try to shoot it as close to the locale as possible as I did identify the Cochin Navel Base, and some lanes in Cochin.

The movie centers around Cochin, Madras and Jaffna...

Wonder how the movie makers got so much real information.

they could easily have made it into 3 movies... or a 9 hour documentary...

Risks Ratinirvedam is the coming of age of a boy living in the Village.

Similar on the lines of "Summer of" whatever.

There are two - the original which is the better one while the new one is good...but only because of Shweta Menon and better photography.
