Obtaining Qatar driving license

By tashi

I don't have a driving license from my home country. Now I am about to leave for Qatar. Could anyone suggest me some procedures to obtain Qatar driving license. How long would it take to get it and for how long do I have to undergo driving training in Qatar in order to be eligible for the driving test.

Your suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Best regards.

Hey buddy......I want to give you an advice, get trained on parking because the parking test is the harder while you can pass all the other tests. I failed once in the parking and i passed the second two yeras ago. Good luck man

I really appreciated your instant information. Now I am aware of it and hope I would be able to pass the test.

Once again thank you very much.

This person has already mentioned that he/she doesnt have their Driving licnese from home...so it really doesnt depend on where u come from...they honour any country's license (mostly the big ones)...but u need to have ur home DL and then come here take a test and then an eye Test and then pay the amount and then u have the DL...

It depends on where you are from-I am Canadian and all I need to do is take an eye test and pay 150 riyal. They need a copy of your residency and a form from your employer and your Drviers license from another coutnry. No lessons required.

u need to go 40days training for driving test.If one have his/her home country license only 12days class is enough.but for ur case, u should take 40days regular class.
