Overused word DESPERATE is applicable

I get upset by people who adopt animals only to abandon them so readily. We are not at all like this. But we are faced with an impossible situation without any options other than to seek out good and loving homes for our 3 cats. My husband suddenly and unexpectedly lost his job, our lease on our apartment expires in 1 week, and we are left with no other choice but to return to the United States, where our living arrangements are as yet unknown.
We have 3 wonderful and loving cats all from the same litter, kittens that were discovered on our friends property. Initially we took 2 and the 3rd was taken by an acquaintance who 1 week later decided he couldn't keep her because his frequent visitor hates cats. Thus we reluctantly agreed to take the 3rd cat. I thought 3 cats in our smallish apartment would be difficult, but it has been surprisingly, unexpectantly, and perfectly fine. My morning 3 minute routine of changing the litter box results in zero cat odors etc. They all have their shots, and have been neutered/spayed. They are all about 1 years old and have lived indoors since we have had them as we live in a tower apartment. They are as sweet and loving as can be and the 3 of them are very close, usually found all curled up together in a big ball of affection. They are all characters and watching their antics is amusing. It breaks my heart to think they may need to be seperated, but I am realistic and realize that there are not too many people that are "crazy" like me and will agree to take 3 cats. We will provide you with a good litter box that has has a top, a cat scratching post/tree and toys. If we are unable to find a home for all three cats we will have no choice but to try and place them seperately. It will be very helpful and much appreciated to have a list of people that are willing to take 1 or 2. Please contact me if you can adopt 1 or more. We are so crushed to have to part with our kitties. I promise that they will provide you with so much love and amusing interaction. And, petting cats lowers blood pressure!
