Ainarl, Adobe Acrobat is different and Adobe Reader is just a reader. Now get down to work and stop struggling. Good Luck.

i think what he's refering to is acrobat writer 6 i know u can do a image to text from that and paste it however the page files in pdf have to be scanned at over 300dpi or so.

Here you go. If you don't have PDF converter installed,

1. Open Adobe Acrobat ver.8

2. Go to File - Save As

3. Choose 'All Files' option and besides the name of file add the extension .xls

If you have images try adding manually. You won't get the results you want and will have to arrange bit manually. This is the best you can do with Acrobat. Try with one file first. *Fingers Cross*.

Hang on Ainarl. I understand the frustation. The name of the software is probably 'PDF converter'. And it converts scanned PDF files directly into .xls. Adobe Acrobat may not be having this feature. Unless you have to through a long procedure. Let me check.

I did it many years ago with adobe acrobat ver6. but could not do it now with ver. 7 and 8.

what i did b4, scan a file into adobe acrobat PDF format (txt and image) then open the pdf file and select the txt, copy and paste to excell, but with a few adjustment. but it is still better than retyping the whole documents to excel.

I have over 50 pages of BOQ to prepare into excel format. any help will be appreciated.

I need to check my software discs. Will let you know in case you don't get any answer by evening. Skdkak, I did convert .pdf to .xls and it facilitates password protection.
