Pet Owners - Survey

Poppy
By Poppy

I have been tasked with trying to guage some numbers of pets in Qatar. A huge task but what better place to start than QL?

If you have time please respond.

Thanks

1) Number of pets you own?
2) Number of dogs?
3) Number of cats?
4) Others - please specify with numbers?

5) Optional - Your Nationality?

You will not be contacted regarding this matter by me or anyone involved in this survey. It is simply to try to put some statistics together, there are currently none!

Heya

Number of Cats - 2 (One of them was rescued from Denmark the other one from the UK. Have been trying to persuade hubby to adopt more but he freaked out. I'll keep asking though ;-) )

Number of dogs - 1 (Rehomed a couple of months ago in Doha)

Nationality - Moroccan

The survey is being done for a number of reasons including:

1) The need for the pet passport scheme - the application has been put together and presented to the Animal Resource Dept.

2) The need for a registered charity (QAWS had to close due to funding/legal status etc...)

3) The new laws, animal rights etc... being introduced.

4) The vital need for statistics - there just aren't any available.

This survey will hopefully be carried out at other venues.

What is the survey for? Qatar Cat Coalition or something? Or to do with the new bill for animal rights? Please let us know.

to keep the beaver clean, we try and keep the Rabbit in its hutch but it seems to get out more than I like we mainly find her under the bed the cheeky scamp.

As for our snake well the less said the better but it does seem to get out an awful lot, even when there is no one else around.
