Philies Parade in Doha?

Having talked to all my fiends back home and having seen all the youtube clips of Phillies phans going nuts back home it a little bit of a let down being so far from the action. I said to myself there have to be other Philly fans here in Qatar. So if there are any, let me know and lets try to get our own little victory parade in Qatar. Lets rep our city and show these people how Philly fans get down!!!! (in a sober and non distructive fashion)Here's a clip of what we're missing back home.

The clip picks up at the 3 min mark.

Actually brit, the "World Series" is named after the 'New York World' newspaper which originally sponsored the event.

OK.. Perhaps we could dress up as "Philly Cheese" boxes..That might go down better..

Sorry no one really cares for it outside of the States. Maybe you can get down the american embassy and share a hot dog or something, but to do a parade for the Philies outside might raise the question why are your harrassing horses.

I don't think so dude.

You could always smell some one else's drawers, If that compliments your strange fetish.

I always knew some Brits are strange characters with rare habits.

At least Baseball is not played in tight shorts like some English Rugby players.

Don't worry, you will not understand Baseball until you participate.

Congratulations to all thePhilly's fans out there.

Great games for the final series.

Two things that happen historically during this world series.

1-The very first time that a Final game for the disputed Baseball world series was cancelled because of the rain.

2-The last time that the Philly team won a MAJOR LEAGUE TITLE was in the early eighties and again, congratulations.

Lets hope the Falcons get motivated and win the NFL championship.

Brit, that comment was for Hero. The official parade is today 12 noon est. The video clip and many others like it were just the people celebrating in the streets immediately after the game. By the way the game ended around 11 pm but I don't think anyone in Philly was sleeping. However there will be more flags and banners during the parade.

I did watch it.. To be honest, I was expecting to see more people with flags and banners on the streets..

But any way.. well done to the Phillies - The city deserves some good times...

Hero I guess you didn't watch the clip.

How about A Philly Walk..

We can Meet at the Corniche.. Wear a horse costume or a horses head and then trot around the seashore in celebration.

Go Phillies!
