for the fashion industry she is oversized... although her proportions are perfect, and her height (6'2"!! Like a good male basketball player!) is balancing her body measurements. Now, imagine she is 5'3", with the same measurements.. she would look quite chubby, not to say fat.. Size 16 is still a big size...

The women are guilty. Why, oh why do they listen to the fashion designers? Even if Lagerfeld told me I was fat or skinny, I would say: Who are you? Are you God? As long as women are unsure about themselves, they WILL suffer. It's their own fault!!

Ah yes. It's really ridiculous, but it seems to be pushed by so many different aspects of the media. If you are not a size zero you are not: attractive, successful, smart, or a good person.

It also seems that if you push for women in the media to be healthier shapes and size, you are somehow promoting obesity, or "jealous" and "prejudice" against "naturally" thin women.

While I don't like to admit I watch the show, if you watch "Here comes Honey Boo Boo" you will see the mother consistently made fun of for her weight. (she is a large woman). It seems to be the only thing the media can focus on. Yet lets really look at her. Yes she's a bit uneducated, but she's managed to raise 4 very independent minded daughters, has a boyfriend who loves her, and now has a successful tv show. So should she just be considered a failure because she's fat?

I don't know any woman who thinks that size zero is perfect. If you look at the comments on the articles, most women are just as outraged as I am that this girl is considered plus sized.
