And the Americans are just as guilty as the TCNs. My point was that I find it hard to believe that everyone blabs about crap on a public forum and even go so far as saying: "You have to have a friend who works there so they can buy pork for you. I'll PM you just now". This is a quote from above. So now if I PM her or she PMs me since we met on QL we all must be good honest people she will tell who her friend is so I can get some pork etc and his name and address. Do you get the drift???
And I don't take anything that is haram lightly, because I do not know how someone else may perceive it so I try to respect my host's views.

In Oman they have pork room in Al Fair supermarket also in Bahrain. People do take them to Saudi but of course they are taking risk of that!

Absolutley they know, there are actually ration cards for pork but as far as others whom are probably getting it from the base black market it is best to keep things toned down and not insult the intelligence of the hosts. Plus it is a good way to get your friends arrested or deported if they are re-selling it.

Pork is not available in Doha, it's still banned. But sometimes, you can ask some Filipinos you know if they know someone. I do manage to get some (once in a while), for QAR65 a kilo. If you know someone who works at the base, I think they can help you with that...
