My wife is 2 weeks pregnant before we get married. Is there any trouble upon delivery in Hamad hospital? What are the steps/procedures & requirements of getting visa for our new Baby. Your advise will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Does the marriage certificate needs to be attested by embassy?

Am an Indian nationality. I have qatar RP and am under company sponsorship. Can the baby be under my sponsorship(mother's sponsorship) as my husband doesnt have qatar RP?

Please let me know.

Thanks in advance

I don't understand your last comment huyenqatar. Are you saying that a mother can't sponsor her child?

"he will go and apply for RP under father sponsorship"

or mother's sponsorship

Novi's right - birth certificate, passport, visa. In that order. To get the birth certificate, you need your original wedding certificate.

We just got the visa (RP) back. They spelt his surname wrong. I think we did well to get that far with no mistakes.

you will need to get the birth certificate, then get the passport from your local embassy then apply for the visa.

Labda, it's a 2 part question.

Part 1: "My wife is 2 weeks pregnant before we get married. Is there any trouble upon delivery in Hamad hospital? "

That's the bit I answered :o)

As long as you are married when the baby pops out there is no problem.
