Hi,

we have a hot discussion in our office about some public holiday on June 27th. Is there one or not?

Can somebody of you give clearance, maybe by an official statement from an authority.

It seems to be listed in a couple of places PM, as an addition to the Islamic Eids.

"Besides these two religious celebrations there are two other fixed holidays: Accession Day and Independence Day".

it is Accession Day (the anniversary of the day the King took the throne) but it may just be a hol for government officials - I dunno.

Diamondgirl would know - or PM, I expect.

Maybe call the tourist office?
