Qatar Living now becoming a commercial site?
Is it just me or is Qatar Living now just another site full of ads and links not working? 2 browsers on the Mac and 2 on a Windows 7 system and the Post links don't work. Finally managed on a Windows 8 PC. Don't they test this any more? Or assume everyone are only using Windows 8 or up? And when the ads finally appeared, the button to show the telephone number just pops up a whole page full of useless ads.
Not complaining cause its sort of free, just wondering what happened to good old Qatar Living we knew. I guess its time to change when money becomes the main motive of a social site.
QL has for many years been reaping the rewards for its popularity in Qatar, yes they have now a bigger team to market it beyond just being a free site for its members. Good luck to the QL team it still serves the need of the community for offering free postings!
UPDATE: I just tried and now it is working on the Mac with Chrome. Maybe some glitch with the QL site service provider?
When going to 'Post', the icons appear below but nothing happens when you click on them (i.e. you are supposed to see the categories under each icon but this does not appear). This is the case being logged in or not. I tried on the Mac (OS10.10.5) with Chrome (Version 45.0.2454.93 (64-bit)) and Safari (Version 9.0 (10601.1.56.2)), then on a Windows 7 (64bit) PC with IE 11 and Chrome 46.0.2490.80 m. Then I got it to work on a PC with Windows 8 and IE, not mine and I'm not sure about the version.
One more thing - the photos posted goes sideways when in portrait mode so it seems the site only takes landscape oriented images?
Hi, When you check Classifieds link of the "Refine your Search" is not working any more since yesterday . I tried in Microsoft Edge & Google chrome. Please advice.
Hi, can you please share which links are not working and on which page? and also provide your browser version.
... and most of the time when you click on a link / a post it's from 8 years ago. Need to put the posts in some sort of chronological order.
