In a bid to foster bilateral relations between Nigeria and Qatar, the Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan is planning a visit to Qatar within the first quarter of next year, it has been learnt.
“We have come to know about the president’s plan to come to Qatar next year. Many countries have now realised that Nigeria is becoming a force to be reckoned with, especially with the role it has been playing in terms of conflict mediation and political intervention in major world events,” Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation-Qatar chapter (NIDO-Qatar) president Olu J Millar said yesterday.

IMO, to say ...name of president (of a country) sounds like SCAM or to term a whole nation as scamster, or making comment on Ties between a host nation & a country of 155 million..............is not in good taste.  I am still searching a group (be a nation, society etc....) which is all correct, nothing bad !!!!

Smoke, you're not worth my time and response to your last comments. Still displays your GROSS ignorance! You need geography lessons to know that these scammers you have read about does not represent a country of over 140 million people. DO YOUR MATH!!!!....PS> Have you taken time to read some names? And you make fun of Goodluck???

LVN now you are asking for it...so may be i'll just give it to you.First of all if you read the post...not wait who the hell are you to call me ignorant in the first place...oh yeah you think you are so smart that yeah we didnt read what "NIDO" was mentioned in the article that I POSTED. Oh bravo on you noticing that. Secondly the thread was posted after an ongoing discussion happening else where which perhaps you are unaware of, about a scam artist, but hey its not your fault please carry on running your mouth. The point is simple, some Nigerians are known through out the world for that internet Scams etc thats a fact. I have clearly asked what people would feel if they were to come to Qatar.Oh and dont teach me internet manners you twat!

Ok let me get the ball rolling before you all jump up crying racist comments etc.To me my personal opinion is after seeing the internet flooded with all these scams artist originating from Nigeria, it does make a person wonder what would happen if those scammers were to slip into Qatar. We have already heard cases of counterfeit money, and the "taxi" tricks. Whats next? Hey everyone from everywhere is free to come and work and make a living. So yeah dont get me wrong and start an argument just for the heck of it.

Smoke, if your comment had a point, you should have gone to it directly instead of tying it to Nigeria and her President, insulting a nation and people I'm sure you've hardly met! I still maintain that you are an ignorant prson and such tactless comments have led to wars and great damage. You need to watch what you say in a public forum and stop making tasteless comments.

Tinkersmell, if your salary is delayed you have to email them with your photo telling them how your husband died in Uganda and that you have a big pot of millions of dollars that you will transfer to their account if they give you your salary in return....THEN IT IS A SCAM...else its just you being screw-ed :P

Truly ignorant people never fail to showcase their ignorance! NIDO is an acronmyn for Nigerians in Diaspora. It's a shame when idle folks indulge in running people down - even when they don't know them. Shame on you for running down Nigeria and her President. What does the name have to do with scam? I wonder why the mods allow such posts into QL. They're very quick to censor other comments. Really wonder...
