Qatari Style!

Hello everyone. We know that Qatar does not have to many places where we can have fun. and we try our best to find out those spots where we can have a good time with ours friends, family, coworkers and qlers.

This weekend I went to the dunes. Yeah the glory dunes at the Sealine resort.

For my surprise I saw a line of ambulances just waiting to pick all the Great 4 wheelers STUNTS, or should i call them Stupids, don't take me wrong I was about to rent one and have fun in the desert. but i realize that I do not want to go back to Doha in a withe truck with funny sounds and lights on the roof.

Everyone was driving crazy, the ones with the Land cruisers and the ones with the four wheelers, We almost crash 3 of them just in the entrance of the Sealine.

So this is the way of having fun in Qatar. Please give me a break I do not wanna see kids bleeding in the desert.

I can do that online at goregallery ¿Where is the law and order in Qatar? or its just at the Corniche in front the palace.

I have no kids, but do the parents care about them when the rent a 4 wheeler and see the line of ambulance waiting for them.

for me was a sick experience. and I was very extreme back in my country.

even there is no insurance coverage if you are on the dunes or off road

Am not posting for eliminate or put some policeman in the dunes.

Of course I will enjoy the ride with my friends in the dunes, but what I saw on Thursday nite was out of control.

To many accidents in less than 30 minutes. so sad guys riding 4 wheelers and then into ambulance.

One of my points of view is the lack of common sense. But yes people run with bulls, people do skydiving, swimming with sharks, drink and drive. theres many ways to kill your self and theres many ways to have fun too.

Maybe I will go back during day light. at least during daylight I will be away of the Kamikazes LOL

There are much thrilling things in the world...but if you play with responsibility and proper safety of yourself and others......as parents of many participants event do not know that their children are going to embrace death there.....

But again.....this is life...and people love to play....just like annual bull festival in Spain....I really don’t know what they call it exactly....great fun for them... with a number of "invited-deaths" every year.

I am not criticizing anything, may be a holy thing for them but just highlighting the anticipated danger involved in that.

Actually the Law doesn't apply in the desert. Or so I've heard.

I'm not always right, but I'm never wrong :P - Garfield

riding or driving fast isn't the case. there are stupid and careless drivers and riders at sealine every weekend. it is like there is an attempt to kill someone everytime. i personally wish the authorities would take better care of their fellow countrymen.

helmets, gears - something ..! nothing is done. sad, really sad.
