Qatar's Bollywood Craze

Bollywood's strong presence in Qatar has drawn local audiences for decades, with all due appreciation. The MENA region has proved to be an excellent market for the Indian film industry. Many nationals in the Gulf show a marked preference for these films, as evidenced by their success and popularity in comparison to Hollywood films. This may be a matter of cultural similarity, or merely of exposure.
