It was fantasitc that so many people came out to support KSA and Smokey Kats efforts:-)

it was nice event, very well organised. it was a fabulous evening....thanks to smoke,ash and ksa for organizing such an amazing event..and secondly thanks to all for coming ...it was great...made alot of new friends and enjoyed the food + the last dip in the sea at midnight:P ash don't mind buddy for spilling that icy chilled water on you from the cool box..just appretiate my efforts that even though with a wounded arm i carried the cool box to spill the water on you :D ..later i felt really bad,,,not for you ash...for my hand yaar ...haha...it was awesome

aside... thanks to SMOKE (first) and ASH and KSA (in order of looks) :P for organising. everything went well. from my perspective i think everyone had a really good time.. mingling and eating. there was adequate space after all, plus space for cars. there was PLENTY food and al just went perfectly well :) good job to you all!

you cannot have cars near the sea..or i mean at the proper beach as it obstructed.

To me till now, it is planned very well and i am hopeful it will be much better on the day....

Now if you remember last QLSG trip to Simaysima how we had space for all QLers.

You need to get the cars in circle blocking entry and exit for the passer bys to have place just for the Qlers will do the trick and you will get space near the beach too.

Early Bird Prize shall be distributed for the early show up of the person at the beach.....:)

So Hurry !!!

Even if someone goes early they cannot book the beach as its first come first serve. People will be constantly coming and they cannot be stopped. Fighting / arguing with the public should be avoided for security reason. We will have the general public parked inbetween us so care should be taken.

and every1 will leave the venue looking forward for another gathering like this..

Some important points (based on my experience):

The beach gets crowded at 4ish (noon). Some one need to be there a bit earlier and look for a suitable and little isolated place.

Parents/guardians will be responsible for their kids. it is an open beach without coast guards and the tides being high nowdays, so the parents have to keep strict eyes on the movement of the childrens.

We can enjoy the ride of powerboats. Available their at rent on hourly basis, though a bit costly but can be shared among ourselves.

The Lighting arrangement. It will be quite dark post 7pm.

I guess most of the people here might have the Grill stands with them, Not the big ones the small ones will also do. Just get them people.

And also, just remembered i too have one ICE box i can give along with the Grills to the mallu chap...:)

Rizks you can give the grills to pajju. But we need more BBQ sets to put the grills on. We cant manage with just ONE. I got mine from Villagio Carrefour for Qr.24 only so its not very expensive, if a group of people from the list can contribute and buy it.

Lots of people are getting ice but i dont see anyone getting ice boxes. Please note we are not asking for to get the expensive type if you dont have, just get those thermocol ones they are cheap, or get plastic buckets, anything to dump the ice in.

Uff what is so difficult to decide what to get. the list is UP THERE. You have to get EVERYTHING under the food items, meaning either get chicken, or beef, or hotdogs or veggie burger whatever you want to get but let us know here so we can put it up who is getting what and THEN only we can adjust the food, its not like you have to go out TODAY and buy the food, relax people just tell us what you are getting from the above list so we will make the required adjustment.

Those that have portable bbq sets get that along it wont cost u anything if there's an extra one around even better. We need 10 bags of coals to bbq food for 50 Plus people, so some of you can contribute towards getting the coals. if 25 people say they are getting coals we know that will be too much so we can adjust it accordingly.

I've also sent out pm's to folks on what to get specifically so when i get confirmation from them i'll add it to the list to see. hope everything is clear now.

Brother, every event of QL, you do so much, you plan so many things, an earlier post of yours, presented us with what we require and this time you dont take any hassles or tensions, just come out there and relax brother...Be it QL or QLSG, you have done a lot...so now its time to relax...But yeah, if you do get into the mood, then you're always welcome to flip a few burgers/hot dogs/chicken/meat with those golden set of hands you got...! :P
