QTEL service getting worse

this post to complain from the changes occured on QTEL repair service , here is the story, my neighbor had his internet & telephone land line out of service , he called QTEL to repair , at the moment they repaired his service i got my service off. it seems it is a technical personal mistake , he repaired my nieghbor's service by spoiling mine. i did not realize it before a few hours elapsed. when i called them to repair i had to do a telehone call of 18 minutes to descripe the problem .then they put a condition , if they come and found the fault is internal from my side , then i have to pay 70 QRL . it's OK , no problem to pay if it is my fault . but to have it fair ,they have to pay as well if it is their fault . now iam without the service for 48 hours plus the disturbance plus the long telephone call and i think these all should be compensated . what is your openion??

i had a similar problem few weeks ago, i called the customer service, they promise will get back to me in 48 or 72 hours, i did not get any reply from them after that period, so i called them everyday, making noise, (ya, u have to wait more than 10 mins to connect to customer service) escalate the issue to higher level - their team leader, still the issue was not solve, and some of their team leader failed to keep their promises or trying to avoid my call (i spoken to maybe 3 team leaders), at the end, i talked to their manager, surprisingly the manager is very profesional, my problem was solved and i got a rebate. my internet was down for about 10 days. it's kinda challenge to your heart and patient to deal with them.

Expat can expect the unexpected from the State of Qatar. I think so you should raise the level of compromisation, if you want to live in Qatar whether it is on road or with Q-tel.Its better to safe your self by giving 70 QRS then taking all this headache and making it a problem of ego because in the end you will be the one who will be suffering not the Q-Tel.

Fully aware from your condition, its better to give 70 QRS and keep quiet.

same issue with me my connections where totally out from friday night till monday afternoon and each time i call the agent he or she will say "Sir they are working on it" or "Sir sorry to keep you holding" it seems they are been trained for this only and to take any action.

at last i was able to locate my friend in QTEL who fixed the connection with in 5 mins which the service providers took 3 days to look into.

and the funny part the connection was back before the technician arrived my place it seems they dnt want to work just want us to pay the bills.

The person has every right to discuss an issue like this on this forum. It is not about throwing 70QR and getting it done. It's about the attitude of a service provider we deal with everyday. If you keep quiet they may disconnect your phone every month and not be bothered at all. Will you keep quite ?

I am a person who can easily afford QR 70 and get on with my other important things rather than moaning like you
