Recruitment rules tightened to ensure fair..
By valleyofdevils •
* Ministry to monitor salary payment.
* Action to be taken against firms
violating rules.
* Inspection Department to set up office at Doha airport to deal with any workers abandoned by their employers.
* Private firms must submit three months’ certified salary sheets before being allowed to recruit new staff.
* Foreign companies or those which have foreign partners must submit tax statement while applying for new recruitment.
* Expats drawing less than QR7,000 per month may be allowed to bring their family if the employer provides accommodation.
gtim, let's hope for the best. The labor regulations, along with the "to-be" visa law for affluent countries, combined with the recent female workers sponsorship law, that's a very bulky change, but urgently required.
once again my comment is good.. if implemented.
