Hi all, I have offered a job for HMC in Doha, and I'm making a visit next week on 18/08/10 for a few days. Can anyone give me any advice?

Planning to start work in October. Currently in the UK.

Hi bea, I was trying to find out where expats from the UK would recommend any compound villa. I have been told that I have an option of unfurnished or furnished villa. I get an allowance for bills and option for furniture allowance 5,000 - 6,000.

what do you mean which ones are good for expats from UK? how are they different from any other expats? ;o)

villas in compounds are very nice in general, in fact better than an average house in UK - at least in terms of the space / number of bathrooms

what they will be providing you with - depends on your seniority in the company
