Repair Needed for Convertible Top on a Nissan 350Z

Hey Folks,

Anyone here skilled at mending a small tear in Convertible tops? My 350Z has a small tear along the seam where the top bends when it folds into and out of the storage compartment. It would be an easy fix for someone with some sturdy thread. I just dont have the dexterity or tools to do it. Anyone care to help? Just give me your price, and we shall arrange something.

i wouldn't advice for needle job on your convertible top. it will make it worse as you are using it.

While this solution may not sound very logical, but you could try people who repair shoes. They have such types of thread available along with the tools. One such shop is on the footpath at Sharah e Asmakh.
