Resident Visa to Business visa???

My contract ends here soon and i'm not going to get an NOC from my company, does anyone know if I can leave and come back on a business visa straight away to work if i have a job sorted with another company?

And is there any news on the change in sponsorship law? I've heard from several people the ban is only for 6 months now and it might be abolished all together as Qatar wants to join the WTO and that means they have to stop it??
