Emirates, Qatar Airways, Gulf Air (via Bahrain), and Oman Airlines (via Muscat) all have flights to Dubai.
i'm not sure about the rates for the rest but i know the weekend rate for Qatar Airways and Emirates is 850 QR. I would highly recommend applying for a frequent flyer rewards program. you'll find that they will prove to be very useful for such short trips (only 4000 qmiles to redeem Dubai/Abu Dhabi tickets with Qatar Airways Privilege Club! you only have to pay tax).
you may also want to try air arabia. their return tickets are about 600 QR only, but they fly to sharjah (20 - 30 minute drive from Dubai). I personally hate flying with them, but a lot of people find it more economic.
QA have a weekend rate, one week, two week, one month and one year. start about 800 for weekend to about 1600 for one year. This is to abu dhabi. add an extra 180 to dubai for extra taxes.
Etihad fly into abu dhabi only and only 1 flight a day (except tuesday)
Emirates the best for dubai.
Price agreements mean that fares are almost identical for all airlines
I flew to Dubai on Emirates for 940 QR return, and I think Qatar Air was similar, but I chose Emirates to add a couple extra mile to my Skyward Card. Earlier this year, I flew Air Arabia (flies into Sharjah, but a taxi isn't too much, or your ride can get there easier than to Dubai airport anyway) and it was only about 475 return. The plain was new, but simple, and I would recommend that route, if you are able to book online far enough ahead to get that rate. The later you leave it, the higher the rate, so if it is last minute, you may as well go QA or Emirates.

You guys travel a lot.
Nice to know.
Most of the time I like peaceful, quiet Doha.
For fun and entertainment, Dubai and Bahrain are good for 2 to 3 days max.
