Scalextric tops list of nostalgia toys

Brings back memories. i used to have a Scalextric with Mini Coopers. Loved the toy, along with my Action Man complete with diving suit and camouflage outfit..

A survey of 1000 households by Access Self Storage found that Britons preferred to keep certain items rather than throw them away or sell them on eBay.

The most favoured were those with an emotional connection or a link to childhood - with toys from the 80s and 90s particularly popular in self storage.

Clothes that no longer fit but evoke memories featured highly, along with family photos and love letters.

Model Cars were my favorite ... that wud be parked outside lego castles i wud build... but 3 years out of home and i returned to see none at its place... was donated... :S

I was more of a TCR man myself Brit:-http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Total_Control_RacingThe jam car made the whole thing more interesting, and getting the best line into a corner made the whole thing much more realistic.I would love to own a TCR set again. Maybee I will take a look at eBay one day.
