Hi all, Albertaman back in...

Do you all have any information as far as which schools are still taking new students and if my son could join partway through a term?

Thanks and talk to you soon...

I'm actually in the same boat and I'm also coming from Alberta (Sherwood Park). The earliest my kids can come will be January (end of school term here). What I've been told is "if there's space". My wife and I have talked about it and if there are no suitable openings for my 15 and 11 year olds, I'll come unacompanied for the first year (there's more flights home for singles than married with families so it should be OK).

I will of course start to look as soon as I get there. Hope that helps.

I would start calling schools now. There are tremendous waiting lists at most of the schools. First, the lists change daily. Second, it depends on the grade that your son is in. The schools have a certain number of students they allow for each grade level. That is why it is best to just call them.
