Most of the times Leave(s) (Sick Leave or Annual Leave) are stipulated/mentioned in the Employment Contract, so whatever is in your contract that you signed will be followed.
hi, as per Qatar labor law, u have right in 3 days leave per year and u can take it any time u want without certificate or anything, once ur done with the 3 days as per the law then u will have salary deduction counted on numbers of days of absence without certificate or prove.

and am talking about the book which ministry of labor gives to company, it details each n everything an employee must have.

Thelonius, TFS. But article states that the sickness must be proved with a certificate from a physician approved by the employer.

If you're out for a day (sick leave) then of course the company will deduct only a day from your salary...it's common sense...:)
