tigabaguio... Well for me at the age of 30 because from what I heard if you quit smoking it will take 10 years before your lungs gets back to it's original state or something like that so at the age 40, I could still be as healthy as an ox... Haha

strawberry... If you smoke it's ok but if you don't, I don't encourage smoking because it's unhealthy & it's hard to quit though I can control my self from it... I will stop when it's time... I have age requirement when to quit & I'm still young so I'm enjoying everything life can offer for the time being... Haha

pappu..my doctor and i dint say moderate drinking can lower glucose.. he dint encourage me to drink either.. but dint forbid me, rather advice me to take shots moderately, a maximum of 3 shots to be exact and should only be on special ocasions..it was shisha's research that sayin drinking moderately help againts diabetes which she said it was her personal opinion..in contras with shisha's research "natural insulin are produce by our pancrease.. intakes of alcohol can damage it causing it to produce less insulin.."so alcohol should be avoided by diabetics my doctor told me.. then i told him a joke.." if not drinking alcohol will only extend my life for 5 years, then id rather drink i told him that.." lol

ahaha..my doctor said moderate dringking for diabetics ranges 1-3 shot glass ocasionally.he stressed "special ocasions".. it has to be for a reason.. dint ask further what ocasion would that be but certain my dogs birthdays are not to be counted.. lolcheers..

You are just a follower.. sorry.. if you quitted for two years.. why you started again... We have guys in office who smoked alot before.. but they didn't started again..  and i consume 15-25 per day.. depend upon the situation, if i am busy out ov office and not driving then max, if in office and straight to home, then less..

ingeniero.. sometimes its who you are with.. its the people thats sorrounds us..before i came to doha stop smoking for more than two years.. then i started smoking last month cause i cant bare the smell... all of my 3 colleagues smokes insides our office.. and when our Arabs bosses will visit us they will smoke aswell..really hard to go againts the flow.. now im almost consuming a pack a day.. which for me means im back as chain smoker.. 

i want only 30%... though it is effecting me lot.. especially no stamina, lot of other problems, but still.. may be someday i truly realized that i should now quit it.. then i will start struggling.. but at current i am not in that position.. though my all wellwishers want me to stop it..

Alcohol is not a sin, in fact wine, brandy or beer is good for the health if consumed properly. Not to mention that priests or even Jesus had wine.

And I beg to differ Flor that sex out of wedlock is a big sin., as long as your not committing it with a family man, i dont find it sinful.

As for smoking, yes they are bad for the health especially for the second hand smoker, people that inhales the smoke out from the smoker

ingeniero i agree with you.. for me eating unhealthy foods is more deadly.. i smoke too but moderate.. i exercise and eat my diet strickly.. i eat tasteless food mostly oats - no sugar, no salt, less protien..i dont have the luxury of eating.. so i guess a deserve some sticks fo cigar dont i???and i think not all smokers die from lung complications..

fathimah, i have a one friend who's trying to quit now..because in our home, no one smokes..so it's like a rehab for her since there's no place to smoke but on the rooftop only..since the building we're living are all muslims, she cannot smoke even outside our flat..so now, she can overcome the urge to smoke and sometimes she can let the day pass without one..

If it can get even one smoker to quit I'd say we need to get more of these art works placed around!
