Just like opening a door for a woman you should let her go to the front of the line, But you have to understand that this woman must be worth opening the door for, and there isn't alot of them here in Doha now is there.

What I do when this happens,(and it has) I'll grab the stuff (men or womans!!!) and push it to the side, and tell them to wait their turn. So far now one has called my bluff......

Very good posting, but humour aside, I have read a lot latel from ladies on QL regarding equality , freedometc.. If they want it then they should not act the "weaker sex" when it suits tem.

Personally, I don't believe that there will ever be eqality per se, but there needs to be respect and mutual understanding..

You know sometimes when women have screaming kids or is heavily pregnant, standing in a long line isnt beneficial for anyone...

if women would get equality then they would lose their superior position. I don't think they really would want this.

There are women in this world who wants to be women and there are men who wants to be men.

Equality is not between gender it is between humans.

I most often see in the western discussions, it is a matter of doing boys of our girls......the more traditional values refered to women is not good enough for the society.....the valuation is higher on the traditional male subjects and I think that is wrong...

Totally awesome!!! In India in most railway stations there is a q for women which is maybe 1/4th the length of the men's q. When we were in college we used to buy the tickets for the boys- see how nice we are...

In fact and in truth, the word equality and or inequality between Adam and Eva doesn’t exist.

Let’s see:

1) We know that all human being are essentially equal

2) Woman is a human being

3) Man is a human being

I know… the law of human reproduction could have been naught without the woman.

This is to say that in human existence, woman’s role is not secondary but primary.

From my knowledge of the creation of our first parents, Adam was found incapable of living alone.

Then, an Eva was created out of his rib to be his play mate and life companion.

How can a play mate become a subordinate to man?

The first law of matrimony was instituted for two equal beings with specific roles, of complementary nature.

The wise creator of Adam could have not created an inferior person from a superior man and said that Eva is a play mate to man.

This argument can never be true for The Creator can never lie and can not bring a counterfeit material from a genuine material. :)

Conclusion:

Adam and Eva are to complement and supplement each other and be a whole for none of them can live in harmony without the other.

Actually Eve was created second coz u make a rough draft b4 a masterpiece.
