Speed Radars on Fire

Innards
By Innards

Location: Road connecting Sana and Barwa Signal to Wakrah.
Last night and today morning was a shocking experience.
The road speed for the above location is 100km/h and as usual i kept my cruise at 95km/h but was surprised when I saw camera flash. I thought there may be some issue with the car's speedometer and reduced my speed further below to 80km/h but the result was same. The worst part was when camera flashed at 60km/h speed.

Did anyone else expereinced it?
Will this get added to "Traffic violations"?
Why did this happen and when is it going to be rectified?

Drive Safely and Keep distance!!!

You never know the driver of the Car in front of you can apply sudden brakes out of shock.

Have a Great Weekend :)

It's Camera Malfunction...check the moi website and hopefully you will be ok with no fines

yes they will but after they are ready to function a few of them still have malfunctioning problems

I think those cameras will calculate your average speed in a certain distance. If your average speed is above the permitted speed in that road you will be fined because they will assume that in certain areas you were over speeding.

they flashed me last friday speed below 100 km- no violation , technicians are having a test before the final go

It will not add to your traffic violation data. I was there this morning and technicians were working on it. If its malfunction , they will delete all the data in the camera.

this is my point of view and i could be wrong.

The minimum road limit for radars in doha is 80km. below that if u have been flashed so that means that specific radar is malfunctioning. dont worry about that. ur voilation will be neglected in this case.

added to the fine. It is camera malfunction.

Happened many times when being flashed at Cinema Signal though the lights are green.
