Sponsorship Change for Mother

A friend of mine had been living here in Qatar since he was a kid. he grew up here, finished his schooling, and now he is working. He has a very high paying job.

Currently the relationship between his mother and his father is not good. They are not legally divorced, but the mother wants to live under her son's (my friend) sponsorship instead of living under the sponsorship of her husband.

Is there any way to change his mother's sponsorship in such circumstance? If yes, what is the procedure?

Also, if he brings his mother under his sponsorship, will it create any problem in future when he gets married and try to bring his wife under his sponsorship?
