COuld be behind bars by now, if you read the opinion given by the lawyer
Had a massive fall out! So it is political.
I hope somebody helps this poor man soon. What a shower of *hits they are if they don't allow a hard working man to be reunited with his family.
No wonder he is depressed, who would not be.
but couched in terms of limiting the number of any one nationality that can come her for security reasons.
Feel sorry for him, depression is a real killer and I hope he gets the Visa for his family.
What's with the Jordanian visas, a colleague of mine was also telling me few days back that it's very difficult to get family visa if you are from Jordan
and perhaps jail, according to the article. Sorry to say it but Qatar has a long way to go in terms of understanding mental illness :(
Severe homesickness causes depression and may lead to suicide. Bringing your family here will be a cure somehow so the government and the embassy concerned should help these people.
since it still is next to impossible to get a Jordanian a visa for their family from what I hear at work.
I find most people here do not know how to deal with any of the signs and symptoms of mental illness. They often view it as weak faith and don't want to address the underlying issues.
Leaving aside the visa issue, I find it strange that his threat wasn't taken seriously. surely, the authorities should have acted to ensure that he was safe.
