2. Girls, at times, think that the "words" are important.
3. They can brag to their friends that they got him to do it.
4. It makes them feel all tingly to hear it.
5. Commitment/Power 
6. He ain`t gettin ANY unless he does.
7. It makes up for what a jerk he is the rest of the time.
8. It makes sex better.
9. The woman can say it back without risking rejection
10. The woman wants to see the the look on the guy's face when he says it

Well im in the dark as well , may some money or who knows all im saying is that you can say what you like to them 10000 times "I love you" but then you begin to sound like a scratched cd or a like a parrot , believe me it does not work for me thats for sure!

If I say 'I Love You' my wife will faint.... I did not say it to her though I love her a lot..I know she expects the word from me, when I feel love is flooding from my heart, I can only kiss her forehead…my heart don't generate any words at that time..

its not like i didnt like telling her that i love her but you know young girls first love they get so mushy mushy..and btw i'm talking about my ex from college days hehe and yes she used to tell me she loves me every single day. But my point is just making someone to say I love you takes the whole meaning out of it after sometime coz then you just say it for the heck of making the girl happy?

We women would love/like that our man would call us (or send us a text message) every now and then just to say/ask how we are and what we are doing. Hold our hand and those small gestures that would seem insignificant to men...

This is all true for some women who need constant verbal affirmation. Like me. I'd rather hear my man constantly saying loves me rather than receiving gifts. (Although getting gifts on special occassions ain't that bad too. Haha!)

true..although when youve been in relationship for years and years, when a man says i love you, the response is "what do you want or what have you done, hence maybe you dont want to hear it..j/k
